A brushstroke is the main focus of the exhibition. As if seen through a microscope lens, it reveals the cognitive processes behind painting. Emotionality of works, their deliberate expressionism is the main illusion generated by the painting, graphics and sculptures presented at the exhibition.

Illusory shadows create the effect of the strokes being detached from the canvas. The enhanced materiality of the strokes turns each of them into a hero of the narrative, and the paintings themselves into a kind of comic book page with the participation of character strokes. Sometimes these "heroes" come off the surface and become monuments to themselves, sculptural images of a paint stroke in plaster and bronze.

Emotionality of works, their deliberate expressionism is the main illusion generated by paintings and sculptures from the MAZH series. It's a game with the audience, an obvious irony over the audience, which took the artist's cold digital calculation for the artist's feelings pouring out on it. All works were created in a computer program and only then transferred to the canvas with great skill and obeying the rules of the game.

Do not believe the MAZH exhibition, it's all fake and trash! Everything, except for a very serious attempt by a talented young artist to connect the cosmic-rapidly-changing world with our ideas about the "beautiful", "painting", "artist" and "art" in general.
