"The Taste of Paper" print market
In December 2019, "The Taste of Paper" print market was held at the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art. More than 50 galleries and artists presented Contemporary Art, accessible to all.
JART Gallery showed works from the Russian Silkscreen Printing Foundation's collection, by Dmitry Gutov, Irina Korina, MishMash, Pavel Otdelnov, Sergey Shekhovtsov, Dima Gorbunov and Egor Fedorychev. The reason for setting up the Foundation in September 2019 was to provide the young generation with an opportunity to start collecting.
In addition to the works from the Russian Silkscreen Printing Foundation's collection, JART put on show rare artworks of the 2000s, among which were the provocative prints of the PG group, the legendary George Pusenkoff's "Gioconda", beautiful graphic works by Pavel Pepperstein, the recognisable series with Pinocchio by Igor Makarevich, and other works that the audience particularly like.
