About the author
Vladimir Molochkov began painting in the mid-2000s. He feels most at home in the field of Contemporary Art. Molochkov's first works were much appreciated by Zurab Tsereteli, who invited him into the Russian Academy of Arts. Molochkov has been a Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and of the International Federation of Arts since 2013.

Contemporary Art is the only appropriate sphere for Vladimir Molochkov's painting. The artist is in a constant search for subject matter that is interwoven with current events.
Vladimir Molochkov works tirelessly – his oeuvre comprises over 300 artworks. The artist's studio, located at his dacha near Moscow, is where he works in the open air.

In 2016, Molochkov's piece "Svolochi" ("Bastards") went for 62.5 thousand pounds at Bonhams Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers in London. This painting fetched the most among the works of Russian artists at that auction
