In the artist's figurative painting, created several years ago, the main role is played by the conventionality of the environment, which dictates super-realistic vivid images of mass culture: night dusk, fluorescent light, a polygonal world, computer game schemes, robot characters. In many ways inheriting the traditions of great masters of the Renaissance, such as Piero della Francesca, Giotto and Georges de Latour, Dima uses their techniques to create his photorealistic works.
